1. Who we are

Big Nose is an automotive parts business based in Jinan, Shandong, China. We manage the inquiries received through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact the shared email address below and include your inquiry reference if available.

2. Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email, message, selected products and quantities, and any phone number, country or region and attachments you provide. Name, email and requirements are needed to respond through the form; other fields are optional. Please avoid sending identity documents, payment card details or unrelated sensitive information.

We also record the submission time, language, source form, site, IP address, landing page, referring website and available campaign parameters or advertising click identifiers. Basic activity records include page views, catalog searches and contact-link clicks. Server logs may record connection details for operation and troubleshooting.

3. How we use information

We use this information to answer questions, check product requirements, prepare quotations, assign a salesperson, record follow-up and understand which pages or sources lead to inquiries. We also use necessary technical records to operate the site and investigate abuse.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, responding to a requested quotation may involve steps before a contract; security, business communication and basic service measurement rely on legitimate interests where permitted. Consent applies where required, and legal obligations may require certain records. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

4. Browser storage and external services

Your selected parts and quantities are saved in local browser storage until you clear the selection or site data. Entry-page and campaign information is kept in session storage for the browsing session and included if you send an inquiry. Staff login uses an essential session cookie with an eight-hour expiry. This version does not load third-party advertising pixels.

The contact-page map loads imagery from Esri; loading it sends your IP address and technical request data to that provider. Following WhatsApp, social-media or external map links takes you to independent services governed by their own privacy policies. Website inquiry attachments are not automatically sent to these services.

5. AI translation and follow-up assistance

If an administrator enables an AI service, a salesperson may send inquiry text and product requirements to that configured provider for translation, summarisation, follow-up suggestions and an indicative priority score. Known contact details and matching email, phone and IP patterns are removed first, but free text can still contain identifying information. Attachments and separate customer, advertising and source fields are not sent by this feature.

Scores use inquiry specificity, buying intent and relevance to automotive parts. They help staff prioritise follow-up; they do not automatically accept or reject customers, set prices or send replies. Staff review the results. Contact us if you prefer human handling without AI processing.

6. Access, sharing and international processing

Authorised sales and administration staff can access inquiries and attachments. Information may be handled by technical service providers, a configured AI provider when that feature is used, or authorities where disclosure is required by law. We do not sell inquiry contact information.

Our team operates in China. AI, map and messaging providers may process data in other countries under their own service arrangements. Contact us for details about the providers used for your inquiry and any applicable transfer arrangements. This notice does not imply that an unconfigured provider has received your information.

7. Retention and security

Inquiry records, attachments and follow-up history are kept according to the duration of the business discussion, continuing customer support, any related transaction and applicable recordkeeping or dispute needs. They are not automatically deleted after 30 days. You can request a retention review or deletion.

AI reports are available for 30 days; expired reports are removed when report data is next accessed. Downloaded copies and backups may remain separately and need separate review. Administrative access is authenticated and attachments are restricted to authorised staff. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices, rights and policy updates

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and object to relevant processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also contact the competent data protection authority in your location.

Email us with your request and inquiry reference. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity; do not send identity documents unless requested. This site is for business purchasing and is not directed at children. Tell us if a child has submitted personal information. Changes to this policy will be reflected in the update date above.
